WHO IS
JESUS
CHRIST?
Jesus Christ is the son of God who came to save people from their sin. If you want to follow Jesus, the first step is to know who He is and to understand the Gospel – the good news about Jesus's life, death, and resurrection.

WHY DO WE NEED JESUS?
God created you to be in relationship with Him, but the Bible tells us that every person who has ever existed has sinned against God. In essence, sin is anything we do, think, say, or feel that disobeys God’s commandments. Sin is rebellion against the God who created us, and because of this rebellion our relationship with God is now broken.

God is holy, meaning He is perfect in character. Since God is perfect, our sin makes us His enemies. Because we have rebelled against a perfect God, we rightfully deserve His wrath—which means spending eternity in Hell.

But God is also loving and merciful! His love motivated Him to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to save people who had sinned against Him. This Gospel (good news) means that we can be forgiven of our sins, spared from God's wrath, and can be adopted as children of God!
WHAT DID JESUS DO?
Jesus Christ has saved us from our sin through His life, death, and resurrection!

Jesus left his home in Heaven and was born as a human.
He lived a sinless life that perfectly obeyed all of God's commands.
He died on the cross, receiving the penalty for our sins so that we could receive the benefits of His perfect life.
God raised Jesus from the dead demonstrating His power over death and securing the promise of eternal life for all who trust in Him.
Now, all who believe in Jesus's life, death, and resurrection are forgiven of their sins, spared from God's wrath, adopted as children of God, and will spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
HOW TO BE SAVED
Repent of Your Sin
In order to be saved, we must first admit to ourselves and to God that we have sinned (broken his commandments). We should then turn away from our sins and seek to glorify God with our lives.
Believe That Jesus Alone Saves
After admitting that we are sinful, we then must believe that Jesus is the only one who can save us. God has already done all of the work! All we need to do is receive the salvation that God offers through Jesus.
